100 days since filing at TSC

Am coming up on 100 days since filing for K-1 at TSC...The average processing time for TSC/CSC is about 120 days...So, I should expect something in the next 2 weeks or so...

Any June filiers with NOA2 approved other than from Cuba?

I am at 101 days since NOA1 so I am also thinking the same as you. I hope for some good news shortly

Is Texas still processing K1s from before the zone changes and downsizing? Or did your petition get forwarded to another center?

TSC does not process petitions post July 2007...

My petition did get forwarded to CSC...but apparently approvals from CSC has slowed down a lot..

Ok, so does this mean that petitions filed in Texas in April or May all were forwarded to California? Or does Texas still have pending K1 applications from those months that they will finish? Or are they finished with K1 visas altogether?

I am in the same boat from VSC.... we should be hearing soon still they are working on May applications,

I called CSC last week and got the standard blah..."we are processing cases as of Feb 16th, 2007"..

However, my case on the USCIS website doesn't show as being touched..I suppose not everyone who calls has their case touched..

In fact TSC has not processed K1's for about a year now. Dont worry about being touched or not it means nothing, in fact its better if its not. There is an old saying regarding being touched "meaning your file has changed from being a foot rest to a paper weight". For my green card and sebsequent N-400 i was never touched.

VJ timeline for TSC and CSC is 122 days and 128 days respectively. Why does it continue to get longer and longer between the filing date and NOA2 ? Also, if TSC sends the application to CSC why aren't the timelines the same?

Good question, i have no idea of the answer, as only CSC and VSC process K1. The reason why the time between NOA1 and 2 has increased is twofold. First there was a deadline for HB-1 Visas applications and they got thousands of applications for this. These have higher priority than family visas so will be processed first. Second they decided to put the fee increase date close to this not anticipating a rush before this date.

A good example of clear thinking at the big govt level. Hope this helps answer your question.
