Claudeth actually got up this morning and went to the gym and we were actually early. She normally takes forever to get ready to go somewhere so for her to get ready in about 35 minutes left me in total shock  It was nice working out with her, I hope she will keep it up :blink:

It's nice when Val goes with me too. But her elbow gets sore and cannot work out much. But she does do the treadmill for a little while and then waits for me to finish lifting.

10Yr GC arrived 07/02/09 - Naturalization is next

The drama begins - again!

And now the drama ends - they took the Green card . . .

Florenda bikes with me an hour almost every day, but I think it's just because she's worried that if she doesn't go with me I'll meet another woman on the bike trail.

Claudeth was doing the elliptical with me this morning but only lasted about 10 minutes. She did do a good job with the situps.

Gary, did you get an attorney yet? Claudeth spend 3 hours on the phone with her parents the other night and totally forgot to get the information from her Dad. I think it was a conspiracy because she used up the card and now needs a new one so she can call for the information :P I will get the info eventually! As you know, this is the Filipino way!

We had a couple of "incidents" at the course a couple of months ago so she has stopped going for a while. She beat up one of the 'A' flight members and then I was hit in the left cheek by a golf ball so she doesn't what that to happen, that is for sure! And she is worried that she might loose it again and beat that fellow up. It was actually comic to watch, she is 4'8" and Tom is 6'5"

I LOVE mountain biking. I've been doing at least an hour a day at the local nature reserve and it beats any other form of exercise known to man, imo! Oh, and it gives you buns of steel too. :P

Incidentally, I'm up and out of the door in 15 minutes...LOL

That's really great for Claudeth. :) Exercise is so important to health, and I'm always happy to hear someone's starting.

Initially Andre went with me. Then, it was too cold during the winter to go out that early. Now, he can't be bothered getting up so early and he's not motivated in the early evening.

I chuckle every time he says "tomorrow I may get up and go to the Y with you".

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

My wife never goes to the gym with me. In fact, she doesn't even want me to add her to my membership.

I bought her a bicycle after we were married. She rides with me often, but it really isn't much of a workout. I'm constantly looking back and telling her to pick up the pace because I can't pedal that slow. I'm almost standing still and I still leave her behind.

Needless to say...my wife is not very atheletic, but she is still very petite.

Yeah, we bike along the Rio Grande because we live about 1/2 mile from there. Unfortunately we are nearing the end of the 2nd trimester so I think we'll be taking a break from biking soon. :o
