question -in sending the check did everyone just put it in on top of there application or I don't want to use a hole punch or anything but I don't want it to slip out or anything??? how have other sent the check?

i put it in a zip up sandwich baggy and papercliped it to the cover letter.

i sent my I-751 on sept. 7th and they received it today, september 10th.

met online: August, 2002 - yahoo music chat room

met in real life: July, 2004 - Venice, Italy

filed @NSC - Sept. 2004 / approved - Jan. 2005

married: April 2005

AOS

May 2005 - applied for AOS - Chicago

transferred to CSC - approved without interview: October, 2005

REMOVAL of Conditional Status

received on 09/10/2007 @ NSC- transferred to CSC again

check cleared: 09/29/2007

NOA1 in the mail: 10/02/2007 (notice date: 09/10/2007)

biometrics: 11/01/2007

10 year card production ordered: 12/03/2007

approval notice sent: 12/07/2007

10 year card received in the mail: 12/10/2007

Application for NATURALIZATION

sent off to NSC: 07/17/2008

07/19 - delivered at NSC - at 2 AM

07/24 - check cleared

07/28 - received NOA1 (dated 07/21) - expected wait time until interview - 240 days

08/14 - biometrics appointment

10/20 - naturalization interview appointment! - APPROVED!

11/12 - oath ceremony - CHECK!

and we are done with USCIS! yaooohoooo!!!! :)

Goodluck to everyone !!!

We filed ours on 09/06/07. Delivered to and signed by VSC on 09/07/07.

Does anyone know the average time to approval from VSC ??? Also, does VSC appear to be speeding up or slowing down on I-751 approvals ???

09/07/07 : I751 received & signed by VSC

09/11/07 : NOA1 notice date (I-797 letter : One-year extension)

09/21/07 : NOA2 notice date (I-797 letter : Biometrics)

10/11/07 : Biometrics completed

10/11/07 : Touched

10/12/07 : Touched

11/02/07 : On-line change of address (AR-11)

11/06/07 : Touched

12/02/07 : Touched (for old CR1, I assume from the I865, sponsor change of address ???)

07/15/08 : Touched (Card production ordered)

07/18/08 : Touched (Approval notice sent)

07/21/08 : Touched

07/21/08 : Approval notice received in mail

07/24/08 : 10-year green card arrived in mail
