Do I need CENOMAR even if I am annulled? I am thinking of getting one even before I receive our 2nd Notice of Action. How much does it costs and what is the address. can I ask someone to get one for me since I am currently outside the country working? Please reply.

check this online service of E-CENSUS

according to that site, they can send documents even in abroad.

so far, they are prompt on delivery of docs..as what i experienced when i requested my CENOMAR & Birth Certificates.

I asked my mother's driver to get my cenomar in my hometown. They just gave an authorization letter and they were able to get it fast.

e-Census interface with The PORT is undergoing changes and the payment facility will not be available starting, May 25, 2007. Nevertheless, payments over-the-counter at any Unionbank branch, for local requests, will still be accepted. Please wait for our future announcement. Thank you.

So I guess I have to request the doc thru a family member in the Phils.

For us who are annulled it will appear in the Cenomar our previous marriage, if im not mistaken it cost P180.00...during the interview the CO wont get it cause they will be the one request at NSO, to be sure you need to get one, better to have all the necessary documents than to regret at the end

The rule had been in the past that if the embassy had concerns about previous marriages they would order the CENOMAR due to the document fraud in the RP. Someone said this has changed but I still don't see it on the website so if someone can point it out I sure would appreciate it.

YES and they just used white ink to edit the form that should be validate by the bank,originally DS156 and made it DS157

I got mine too and saw cenomar is needed.. By the way , skyblue.. did u fill in the information on your DS 156k online? or hand written?? i could not type in except for my date of birth.. and also when u have ur DS 156 online... did u print it back to back or 2 sheets? waiting for any clarification..

They seem to go back and forth on this. When Marlene had her interview in 2005, the instructions did not list the CENOMAR. Then, in 2006, the instructions changed and the packet and the website instructions listed the CENOMAR. When the instructions were updated in Feb 2007, the CENOMAR was again not included. It seems now they are again asking for it. Perhaps it will be included the next time they update their instructions.
