We've been checking our online banking everyday with no luck, Mylene has been so worried. I woke up at 4:30 (pre alarm clock) and thought I'd take a look .. Our checks were cashed yesterday .. woohoo :thumbs:

Went to the USCIS Website to check the status of Mylene and Ashley's AOS but the case numbers on the back "do not exist" according to the error message that I receive when entering the numbers (the numbers are very clear on the back of the checks). Hopefully this is just due to the backlog or maybe the system hasn't been updated yet...

We're still mostly in sync, CB. Our checks were cashed Friday 8/31 and we actually got the NOA1s in the mail on Saturday 9/1. Which was good cos we had trouble reading the case # on the cancelled checks!

At any rate, as long as you have yours - I do believe there's just a lapse between them issuing the case numbers and gettting you in the system. I was able to pull ours up but our NOA1 date was 8/29 so I probably gave it enough time before I tried.

In the past the numbers you see on the cancelled check is not the same as that on the NOA that you will get.

Hope Mylene gets her NOA soon. I know how hard it can get to wait and find out if your application was accepted or is being returned to you.

08/17/08: Mailed N400 to TSC

08/19/08: USPS attempted delivery

08/20/08: TSC received N400

08/21/08: TSC cashed check

09/02/08: Received NOA...........Priority date: 08/20/08

..............................................Notice date : 08/22/08

09/02/08: Received Biometrics Notification

09/18/08: Biometrics completed - Charlotte DO

10/24/08: Received Interview Letter

12/08/08: Interview @ 1:00pm. APPROVED!

01/05/09: Oath Ceremony 10:00AM. Now officially a USC!!!

01/17/09: Applied for US Passport and passport card

01/28/09: Received US Passport

01/29/09: Received US passport card

01/29/09: Received naturalization certificate back from passport office
