This reminds me of a prof I used to have. His favorite saying was 'Dont drink and drive, smoke dope and fly'. Nice guy. And, no, Im really not sure how that got in my head all of the sudden. I think its all this damn hot cocoa Im drinking. Im so buzzed, I feel like cleaning the air vents with my toothbrush.

Yes, one more day till PAYDAY!! As summer is winding down, I have to admit that I am looking forward to the upcoming fall events. I am excited to show my husband in October how the kids and me go to haunted houses, corn mazes and cider mills. I might not like the weather but there are alot of neat things to show off here. Moody, how did your cedarpoint trip go? Did your husband enjoy it?

He LOVED it! He went on all the "scary" rides. I like rollercoasters but only the tamer ones. He went on the Millenium Force and the Top Thrill Dragster...those two were way too scary for me. We went with Salwa and Mark (M+S) so we had a great time.

Jasman: I"m starting to think EVERY friday is payday for you...

Moody: Omar and I are going to the fair this weekend. I can't wait to see how he enjoys it. Last year I sent him pics of it on the net and he said, I want to go one time in 3 months. I said 'it only comes one time in a year'.

Im just happy that my surgery got bumped to next Tuesday so now I CAN go to the fair. This is the only weekend before Ramadan. Can't enjoy the fair if you can't enjoy the food.

The crisp NorthWestern air is here today so it's blowing your way! The trees are slightly turnning and there is some foilage on the ground already. Though the summer green is still holding out in many leaves and branches ect...

Fall used to be my least favorite time of year and I was born in that season. Now I as I get older I feel a kindred spirit with it and begun celebrating the season the same as you all with haunted houses and corn mazes and decorating colors of orange, brown, crimson, ect...

We had a blast a six flags.......last year And tomorrow would be payday...if I was able to work ( I hope next Thursday will be a better day for me.

I don't think it's the state fair. They have one called the Evergreen STate Fair. This is the Puyallup fair (my cousin from Calif calls it Pile up..out of staters usually can't pronounce these wild indian names). It lasts for 3 weeks and has it's own reserved fairgrounds. Krusty pups here I come.

Happy Thursday everyone!!

My husband and I are almost done painting our new apartment. Well... I'M almost done, my husband IS done. Since he works nights, I've been there alone everynight this week trying to get it done before we move in our furniture this week. Can't wait til we're finished! I'm exhausted... I didn't realize that I came into work this morning covered in paint. I haven't gotten up from my desk much today so no one's really noticed.

I can't believe that Ramadan starts in a week!! I haven't had much time to think about it. I feel like there was a lot more excitement on the board last year leading up to Ramadan. Well, I'm excited!! I'm not muslim, but I like to celebrate with my husband and participate in the fasting when I can. I'm looking forward to dusting off my recipe box and using my new kitchen!
