ok this might sound stupid but does it matter who signs the I-751 form first and who signs it second? I'm the Green card holder and my husband is the US citizen?

In my passport my alien # is 8 numbers long (hand written when I arrive the first time thru immagration) but on my green card it 9 do I include just he 8 or the full 9?

what are ACCO'S and can I get them from office max or somewhere like that?

are affidavits necessary?

one more stupid question...

I'm really freaking out I'm planning on sending everything off by Friday pm and my green card expires on the 22 of this month with I still be safe to say here after it expires?

below is what I have aas evidence

A copy of my green card (front and back)

A copy of the car insurance in both our names

A copy of our Military Star Card, Sears and check and saving (could on get from the 8-22-06 do you think this would matter as so we have only printed a copy on that months statement and the lastest statement... showing we have had a joint acct. from at least the above date and do currently??

A copy of my husbands life insurance stating that I am a benificiary (with our old address on it)

and photo's of us together

and thinks for any suggestions !!

I would have green card holder sign first since it is the green card holder that is having conditions removed from their card, and the US citizen signs on the spouse's line.

Full nine digit A#

ACCO fasteners are fasten at the top of the paperwork through 2 holes. Office Depot or Staples have them.

It is recommended to include affidavits from friends and family to attest to your relationship.

Yes, it is safe to relain here after card expire, the NOA1 receipt letter sent you will extend the green card for 1 year.

Evidence looks good, but how about marriage photos, and other photos together?

Read the I-751 guide, and lifting conditions guides.

I used ACCO fasteners and also tab inserts to separate each area of documents. Good luck

Thanks for your replies it's helped me relax a lil. The only thing is I can only get one affidavit from a girl friend of mine, I had asked another friend but she is to busy and won't be able to get it notarized. do you think it's worth only including one affidavit? or should i just leave it out all together?

what makes you think that affidavit from friends must be notarized??? just prepare a document for your busy friend so she can just sign it.

An affidavit is a formal sworn statement of fact, written down, signed, and witnessed (as to the veracity of the signature) by a taker of oaths, such as a notary public. The name is Medieval Latin for he has declared upon oath.

I just reread the instrustions and your right eXTRemNoD it doesn't have to be notarized, but i just realized that my other friend that is writting us a letter has only know us for just over a year, and the instruction state that they have to had know me/us since my conditional residence was granted, the thing is I don't know anyone else (besides the first friend) that has know us since then... should I just send them both in and habve my fingers crossed?

thanks again

we went and copied everything in the pack last night all I'm waiting for is the letters now...
