HI EVERYONE

Hi merci,

My visa number from NVC and the IV bill came both stamped in Auckland, New Zeeland, it tooks 2 weeks for each of them to arrive in Switzerland!!

I don't know why the post stamp is from Auckland, New Zeeland, but it is on the enveloppe! Anyway, the way through NVC seems to be longer on CR1, visa than K3. I will be waiting for the I 129F because of my kids, their I 130 are pending since June 07, and we will go together there, I have no other opiton and beside that, the waiting time for K3/4 is shorter than CR1.

Hope this helps for your case,

God bless

It seems like mail coming from the NVC is taking awhile. It took 3.5 weeks for me to receive my IV bill after it was generated, and 3 weeks for my I-864 instruction packet. It usually does not take that long for mail to travel from NH to MI. Not that I needed the I-864 instruction packet (thank you James's shortcuts!) but I did need to wait for the IV bill.

CR1 application

I-130: 03/26/2007-07/02/2007 at NSC

NVC: 07/20/2007-11/08/2007

Interview at Montreal Consulate: 01/18/2008

(2 months' additional security checks)

Received Green Card: 05/12/2008

Removal of Conditions

I-751: 2/25/10-

Peeps, this is what I just posted a while ago from another discussion but I think we're all in the same boat!!

I got a letter that just came in yesterday in the mail from NVC and it goes something like this.....

_____OF-230-I: __________________________________________________________

The NVC has received the requested Affidavit of Support (I-864) for this case. However, we are still waiting for the Immigrant Visa Application (DS-230). Please submit the form according to the instructions. If you need another form, please visit http://Travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_13356.html to download a new form and complete instructions.

The thing that is puzzling is that for a couple of weeks now, i've been waiting for the Immigrant Visa Application (DS-230) to arrive as I never received it. I called NVC almost everyday for the last two weeks and they have assured me that i will be getting the DS-230 packet shortly. And now I got this letter yesterday saying they're waiting/missing this in order to complete the process?? What ever happened to the DS-230 packet that I was waiting on??? I am btw, the Choice of Agent so it should have came in. Anyways, regardless, I told my wife to go ahead download the form, fill it out and sign it and send along with the other required documents. I am actually calling NVC now as I write this reply to find out more as why I never received the DS-230 and about this checklist letter I received!

So for those who are waiting for your DS-230, please keep at it in calling NVC!! I call DOS as well and see if both are in-sync. I tell you guys this much, everytime I call NVC, I get different dates on when it was received and generated!! Of those times I called, NCV told me that my IV bill generated on Aug. 20th, another day they said it was generated on 23rd & and earlier this week they told me the 27th. So I honestly don't know which one is correct.

Good luck everyone and will keep you guys posted!

God Bless you all,

Den

Sometimes I really wonder about the USPS. My sister in Colorado mailed me a letter a couple of months ago and it took a month to deliver it. That is only 879 miles from here, heck the pony express did a better job :P
