I know it depends on the actually Embassy and Country, but has it been heard of to go into the interview with your fiance` or you will just be in the lobby waiting?

Our interview is coming up soon and I wanted to know if I should go down for that.

Our interview is coming up soon and I wanted to know if I should go down for that.

For my interview in Vancouver, my fiance got to attend the interview with me - and actually was asked a question or two by the consul officer.

I don't believe the attendance of the USC has any bearing on the interview itself, but certainly it'll help your fiance's nerves if you're able to go.

Nini - Vancouver BC, Canada (she's the one who does the forum thing)

Bee - Devon PA, USA (he's the one who gave her the shiny ring)

Getting our sanity tested by bureaucracy since 2007.

Here we go again...

The USC can also accompany the beneficiary to the interview at the embassy in Bogotá, Colombia. Which is what I'm planning to do. You can go and see how far they'll let you in, it wouldn't hurt to check.
