D just got down to London to see Prince tomorrow night.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO jealous!!!!!!

And the song I used in my title....well that reminds me of the time I was a little girl and I had a Westie named Prince...I'd stand him up on his hind legs & in a fake voice I'd sing the chorus whilst moving his front legs about like he was singin & dancin.....

Ahhh good times........

my best friend's mom (who was cool, unlike my mom) took me and her to see Prince on the Purple Rain tour when we were 13 years old. We had third row seats. Best concert ever.

That is one cool Mum. Mine is only up for seeing Tommy Steele.

As far as my Mum is concerned, modern music reached its creative peak with the 'Birdie Song' by the Tweets.

My mom took me to my first concert -- Davd Bowie's Serious Moonlight tour. I remember asking her what those funny-smelling cigarettes were that people were smoking all around us...

(Okay, my first concert was technically David Cassidy, but that was my brother's choice, not mine, and she couldn't get a babysitter. Really, I swear!)
