well my husband just got the appointment date for his Biometeric for the EAD/ AOS...

What actually happens at a biometerics????

and I am confused... cause we got the noa for the EAD.. and NOT the AOS.. (I cancelled the AOS payment check due to issue in our relationship)

BUT on the appointment for the biometerics.. it had it for the EAD AND the aos!!!!

what does this mean??

If you canceled the check for AOS then you have all but abandoned your AOS and unless he is still within the 1st 90 days since entry he will be out of status....

I am sure that USCIS will see that you have cancelled the payment and they will write to you asking for the payment or with a letter of denial....

If you intend to continue with the AOS then you need to sort this out ASAP.... Make an infopass at your local office and get their help to sort out the payment problem and hopefully this can be done before its too late and you have to staert all over again or worse he gets a letter telling him to leave the USA...

Ok just read that you are a K3 visa holder not K1..... so he wont go out of status but if you intend to continue with the AOS you do need to sort out the payment problem...

honestly... things with me and him are still on the rocks... I dont know IF i wanna pursue the AOS now... or just wait... i think he has 2 years... the only problem would be Him paying the new fee increase :(
