So we applied last year, at MSC, im in CA, Orange county, i was already living in the US, we filed i130,i485 work and travel back in june 2006, i had my interview with my wife mid august, and i got my travel and work in sep 2006, my i130 and i485 has been sitting pending since june 2006, i filed my renewal EAD and renewal travel permit in april, i got my travel approved july 2007., it has been more than 90 days for my renewal EAD, so i contacted them via the national line and they submited a request....

today i got a letter to that response of my delayed renewal... , saying that my EAD app is with an adjudicator, AND it also says on that letter that my i486 has been transfered to the CSC.... its been a year., and they transfer it now??? what the hell., ive read that many of you are saying that its good news as there might be no interview, but i already had my interview, aug 2006.. any idea on what the hell is going on???

You could have been stuck in name checks. It happens a lot.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Sounds like a mixup, like your petition was just sitting somewhere with no one attending to it. Maybe you will get your GC approval soon

what really sucks is that, i might get my GC with Sep or Oct 07, with a 2 year condition on it, may 29 07 was our 2nd year anniv, which means i have to wait for 5 years to apply for my GC., well i mean it doesnt suck that bad, it wld be worse to not get it at all :)

my comment comes from my plans..... in 2 years i plan to retire and move out of the us somewhere else.... im 27 but i am a partner in a company that is in talk of getting sold, if it gets sold the payout is in the millions,. so i plan to just leave the us with my wife... and have 2 kids ., :)

I would make an info pass appointment but... id have to go to laguna niguel, since its at the CSC, even with infopass it takes almost an entire day ., ... not going to work for a day costs me about $500... maybe ill wait till the end of the month? is there an email address for the california service center?

im pretty sure it was stuck in fbi checks...

You don't have to go to CSC for the infopass. As far as I know it's scheduled in the closest local office.

If your GC gets approved after the 2nd wedding anniversary, it will be a 10-year GC. No conditions to remove.

They may have sent it to CSC to be approved. Here is my son's timeline for his I-1485/I-130:

I don't know why they would have sent your file to CSC if you were already interviewed, but it may have been a way for them to have it approved faster.

You only need to wait 3 years to apply for citizenship (based on your marriage to a USC), even if your PR status is conditional for 2 years. They should not send you a conditional card though, seeing as your application was approved after you had been married for 2 years.

dito,

Our AOS was sent to CSC from Atlanta. We finally received a permanent green card in the mail without having the interview. We waited until the 'two year married' rule had passed and sent to the CSC a handwritten letter requesting a staus update and within a week received a RFE for the latest income tax filed. We sent the tax information and a few days later received the PGC. We believe that you will receive a PGC, but you may have to update the income status. Remember three years from the date on the PGC is citizenship time.

Just believe !
