A Question... Packet 3.

Hi all,

I have filled out all the forms in package 3 and am just waiting for the lawyer to return the set so i can get them sent off the LOndon embassy.

I was wondering can i fax the checklist off to London now, or should i wait.

I have only to get the Affidavit of support completed by my fiancee. I have the rest, birth cert etc.

If i can fax it, where do i fax it to and whats the number?

OH and i have the medical booked for the 19th April.

Hi Melanie

Don't recall seeing a fax number for London or anybody on here even having faxed the checklist to London. They won't start processing your case until they receive DS230,DS156 &ds156K along with the checklist.

Yeah, I think all documents have to be submitted in the mail but I only base this on the fact that I've never heard of anyone faxing documents to London. Like Adele said, they won't start processing your Packet 3 until they have all of your documents so you're best waiting anyways.

I would bet that faxed submissions are not permitted. When your package arrives at the embassy mail room, it goes into a big stack, still in the envelope, until someone is available to handle it.

I just had a thought, does the checklist need to be signed? If so then faxed copies are definitely NOT ok because signatures need to be original.
