I have been self employed for the past 9 years and sent in my 2005 and 2004 tax returns which show a good amount of income. This last year has not been so good and I am wondering wher I can find the income requirement for a K-1 visa. Also, may accountant is still working on this years return and has filed extensions, will this be a problem? I ussually do not get my taxes until November. Thanks :help:

To file for the K-1 there is no income requirement, this comes later when your fiancee interviews for the visa, then if you plan on being the only sponsor, your income needs to be at or above 125% povertyline per form I-864P.

Since you are past April the consular officer will expect 2006 IRS return attached to the I-134 for the intervew. You can use simple IRS transcripts. http://www.irs.gov/faqs/faq1-6.html

If you don't have 1099s showing all income get tax transcipts from IRS for the years you filed.

Even if you have 1099s get them as they are more valid. They show you definitely filed.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!
