:luv: I'm feeling exceptionally positive today!

I thought I'd start a thread for anyone who wanted to post on what makes them :D smile  and laugh about their relationship.

I was remembering a smile in my heart last night for the time Waleed got on his knees while I was sitting in bed and I had just arrived from a deliriously long plane ride. He was holding my hand in his cupped hands asking if I still wanted to marry him.

Then I was having a laugh because he put one hand to his heart and had the other to his head and said, "You hesitated. I felt you hesitate" From his reaction it tells me he is emotionally invested. That I shouldn't doubt him. This makes me so happy I have to laugh with pure joy. He really is wonderful!

I would love to hear about anyone elses wonderful smiles in their heart stories and experiences in there relationships that made them so happy they laughed with pure joy. (L)

I love the warm fuzzy threads. :)

Last night I was doing some work from home on the computer. Moh washed the dinner dishes then asked if I wanted him to make me some tea or coffee or if he could get me some diet Pepsi or anything. I love that he's thoughtful like that.

AWE! I remember before we met Waleed would do the same thing through webcam. Then when we were on a train ride from Cairo to Luxor he would get up and go to get anything I wanted. He even made sandwichs for us with all the fixings. He was so kind taking care of me every second like I was his Queen. :luv: He says "You get what you give".

I have had two kids with my husband. Our oldest is 4 and our youngest is 5 months. My husband changes more diapers than I do and always has - he is a huge help and so great with the kids. Bathing, feeding, waking up, etc. Hes the best! That gives me the warm fuzzies more than any words ever could cause im tired!!!! And we works full time just like I do (even harder that I do as well, physically and mentally)

Ahhh, My hubby still makes me laugh. Although unintentional at times, he still gives me the giggles. That always gives me a good warm fuzzy. And lets face it, a warm fuzzy beats a big fat hairy rock any 'ol day ;)

My warm fuzzie was my marriage proposal. His family did the henna tattoos on my hands and feet (took 3 hours). And he left to go to the medina shopping while the women did this. Btw, none of them spoke any english. Anyway after they left his mother left to go to the public bath and i stayed there and waited for him. When we were shopping one of the things i saw was for my son which happened to be a knife type sword, which he collects. When Kamal came home, he had that in his hand and a bag. And in the other hand he put out to me and opened it, there was a tiny red box. As he waved the sword in one hand, he gave me the box in the other hand, saying,

"marry me or else". Oh my i thought i was gonna pass out. I knew he had a ring, but didn't know when and how he was gonna give it to me. To some this may seem dumb, but to me, it was the most romantic proposal ever. And this Thursday he goes for his interview. Keep your fingers crossed!!!!!! :luv:

My husband is a great father to my kids. Their biological dad really doesn't have much to do with them and my husband loves my kids like they are his own. They even call him dad or abba on occasion. Did I mention that he's AWESOME? :P

Well that gives me another fuzzy to add to my day :) I have a new friend :D. I added a bit to the old thread a few days back, but I think it got lost in the shuffle. Anywho, for your benefit: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...t&p=1160066 :)

And another fuzzy from the hubby. I love it when he lays on my belly to listen for the baby. Ahhhh, the stuff of dreams :luv:

Not to belittle the moment, since that was very thoughtful but your post made me realize that when men tend to do things that us women don't even think about, like doing the dishes or getting us some tea, we tend to think WOW what a cool guy.............but in reality women do this for men all the time and when do the men ever go WOW what a cool woman? You know? I mean I'd think the same and I do when my husband does the dishes or makes the tea when I'm with him but for pete's sakes we do that stuff 24/7 and it's kind of assumed that we'll do it.

Guess I'm not in a warm n fuzzy mood today. lol
