Ok, now im confused too... I thought you had to call the operator to hear if the IV bill was accepted...

From my information you then had to ask the operator if the DS230 is generated and then you can sent it in...

The IV Bill may have been accepted, and NVC may have added that feature message to inform it has been accepted. It's still best to call them up and speak to a live operator and ask if the DS230 has been generated yet.

Note: Since NVC does not like the term "generate(d)", you can ask when it's most likely to be mailed and sent out to you.

Congrats and Good luck!

When i called, the automated said the IV bill was excepted on 29th August blahblah

Then i went through to a person and said has the DS-230 been sent out, she replied, the DS-230 was generated yesterday and will be sent out real soon. short sharp and to the point :)

I can send it off now right?? I'm gagging to get this sent out, its the last of the nasty form work! yay!

You're too lucky, I wish my operators had been that nice and direct.

Yep, you can send it now and put yesterday's date on the coversheet you generated.

According to the DOS web site http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3176.html that's all you need. Make sure you sign Part I of the DS-230.

OMG he's growing up ......How gorgeous is he?!

I'm sending mine in tomorrow too..!!! (would have done it today from work here but I forgot you needed the photocopy of the biographical of the passport - doh!).

Now I wait for his mother to give him the tax documents he needs; that we've been waiting for about two months now, so he can hand in the I-864!!!:angry::whistle:

....lucky I'm sending the DS-230 from here in OZ.
