Does anyone know about finaces and being a student? I assume there has to be someone else in my shoes. I am the USC and I am a full time student so althought I don't work I bring in more than enough per year in student loans. Does that "count" or do I need to have someone cosign?

If someone cosigns does that mean they have to be making more than 125% above the poverty line for my household PLUS thiers?

Thanks!

A student loan is a debt you need to pay back, and is not considered Income so I would tend to think you can not use this as income.

As for your second question, YES, they need to be at or over 125 percent for their household, and yours combined.

If you don't meet the 125% yourself, with "income", you'll need a sponsor who does meet them, for their family plus the immigrant. If you live with that sponsor, you count as a household member.

Loans are not income.

Actually, the immigration attorney we consulted casually mentioned that he has successfully assisted student petitioners wherein the income from student loans and grants was used on the I134. As his practice is located in the same town as our state university, I was comfortable he knew what he was talking about.

If you're unsure how to process your affidavit, I'd suggest you find a similarly skilled advocate.

I can make him being the sponsor? will the consulate deny me the visa for my fiancee if they see me that i'm unemployed for the last 4 years? should i tell them that i have been full time student and that's the reason i was unemployed also should I ask the counselor university to provide me a letter confirming that i was enrolled as full time during the last 4 years? I appreciate any helps with this matter .

Best Regards
