Hey just i have a quick question for people who have been approved or been throught the interview. I am the USC in our marrage and both my birth cert and SS Card is laminated this was done when i was a kid, when i went to get my lic re newed in VA they told me i cant use eather one cause it was laminated now when i lived in Pa i got my lic and work permit for under 18 with these docs and never had a problem. Also my husbands birth cert is laminated. Will they accept themor will i have to get new ? I am hopeing they will accept them i dont know how ling it will take to get the copy org. Yeekkk !

I don't have the answer to your particular question, but I know for sure that they specifically tell you NOT to laminate your SS card when you get a new one. It will only take the SS office 7-10 days to send you a new one. I'm not sure whether you'd have to go there in person or not in your case.

Yeah mine were done when i was a baby and we have never had a problem with it at all.
