Legs are swollen again so I'm camped out on the couch with pillows under my legs and I'm sure it is quite a site.

D-to-da-oodle: a blood clot can cause swelling?? What can be done about that?

(F) amal (F)

Is it one leg or two? If it's only one leg get thee to a doctor or at least call. If it's two it could be anything like a blood clot, something to do with your heart, etc. I know you said you had headaches and stuff so I'm kind of worried for you. I'd definitely get it checked out.

\Can u see blood clots on the outside of the leg? I have 2 strange looking "bumps" on the leg that is swelling the most. Its been there for what seems like forever. It hasn't gotten any bigger (that I'm aware of) but still won't go away. I wonder if I should get some therapeutic stockings to help push the fluid out......

Well I'm not your mom but I'd feel better if you just went to a doctor and had a full physical. I don't think they're dangerous by themselves but if they move to your heart then it's a scarey thing. Why not just get it checked out and have peace of mind?

good point. If I have time I'll try to get checked out. I go to work before the docs open and leave after they close so its kind of hard to get seen. on top of that working mon-sat is a total pain in the butt. I'll try though

Amal: I'm not your mom either, but for the love of Pete, would you get those legs checked out? You are worrying Doodle and she is stressed enough. :crying: You are worrying me too, but I"m so stressed one more worry won't make much difference.

Speaking of seeing things, when I first read this I thought it said...'if it's only one leg get THREE to a doctor' and I thought, are they talking about a dog??? Need to drink more coffee.
