Female applicants with legally terminated or annulled marriage must tick Single (Never Married) on Item 17. However, they must explain to the interviewing officer the history of their previous marriage.

on the other forum, they advice me to state divorce cause thats what they did before,confusion arises

I would think that if the embassy sent you the forms then those forms would be accepted by the embassy. Good luck

Hi! Well, i think the US embassy in Manila will not post that specific instruction in their web site if it means nothing at all. Logically, it is specified in there to guide the applicants in preparing the DS Forms. So, no need to get confused as long as you follow simple instructions then you'll do fine. Goodluck! Anyway, if I may ask how many days after the NVC has forwarded your case to USEM did you attempt to call Lorraine? We were informed that our case has been forwarded to USEM last September 4, 2007. Would i possibly be getting an appointment date by Monday (September 10) if I call IV?Thanks skybleu06.

I called Lorraine 3 days guess after USE received our petition and nothing happened, cause she just advice me to wait for a month to know my schedule and she just checked the correct spelling of my name and the petitioner as well as the addy, but I didn't stop checking online everyday for my schedule and I got it after a week USE received our case.....try checking below....good luck
