Address is incorrect on the biometrics notice

We submitted the petition to remove conditions on residence to Vermont on July 24. A week ago we received an appointment notice to do biometrics on Sept. 11.

Our address on the biometrics notice turned out to be incorrect (we didn't even notice it at first): our street name consists of two words, but they entered just one of them. The notice still reached us. However, we did not receive anything else from Vermont. The case status service online states:

On August 7, 2007, we received this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case...

We did not receive the NOA1. If it got lost because of the incorrect address, how do we get the 12-month extension of the conditional resident status (my wife's green card expires in less than 3 weeks)?

What is the best way to correct the address?

- Call the customer service number?

- Make an infopass appointment?

- Ask to make the correction during the biometrics appointment?

- Anything else?

Our biometrics appointment is at the application support center in Wheaton, I don't know whether they can correct the address. Our district office is in Baltimore.

Thanks!

Vadim

I called the customer service number on Sept. 4. They asked some questions and told me that they forwarded the request to the Vermont service center and that it takes 30-45 days to make the correction. Today we received a letter from Vermont stating that they made the correction. This letter has the correct address. We're pleasantly surprised.
