2 - 3 hours on weekdays. 8 - 10 hrs on weekends -I have my webcam on all the time so he can see me anytime. He even watch me when I sleep at night.

The time we were spending together wasn't just "the camera is on and we are connected" time. We did lots of things together. Since we had mics we talked endlessly. I sang to her, we played online games and her family would come in to join the conversation. After 3 years of that I can say we knew each other better than most people with "regular" relationships had. It forced us to concentrate on getting to know each other rather than the other things that local relationships would give. All in all I feel that it was a benefit to our relationship.

This is a happy answer.

Thank you!

My point is extensive daily contact doesn't ensure or reinforce a LDR.

I'm really not trying to be combative, but I have to point out that no one said extensive contact ensures anything. I accept there are those who spend lots more time on the phone together than we do, and there are those who spend less than we do....every couple has their 'comfort zone' of time, and that's what's good for them. Nothing ensures anything.

This was to be a happy topic. Take your negative somewhere sad.

excuse me?

i don't think Bob n Dora was talking about you....

as for us towards the end we would just talk on the phone at least once a day....

the jury's out

I send an email each day; she is able to send one every two days; we call two times a weeks for a few minutes.

My Russian language is bad and her English is getting much better; she has been working a 24 hr job caring for a child so her time is really limited.

I try to keep myself busy but of course, I am very lonely for her.

We maintained constant contact through mental telepathy and remote viewing. Sometimes it became too much like when showering or sitting on the can. We had to leave this part out of the interview though.

Too Funny!!!!!!! Great!!!

As for us, we chat 1 or 2 times per day - sometimes 15 minutes, sometimes 3 hours....it varies. Most days, or at least every other day, we spend 10-25 minutes on the phone as well. We were together in the Philippines for 6 months and I've been able to get back for another 3 week visit subsequent to that time. I hope the next visit back will be to sweep her off her feet and wisk her away on a jet plane to our new home together!

Wishing Everyone Speed, Success, Happiness and Love,

TinTin and Samby
