List of vaccinations

Does anybody know where I can get a list of vaccinations my fiancee is required to have? I understand vaccinations are not required for Embassy interview, but later for adjustment of status - is this correct?

Also, there are two clinics in Moscow for medical - which one is better? We would like to have results the same day so she can go to the interview the next morning. How to make an appointment at the clinic and how far in advance do we need to schedule it? We do not have her interview date yet, but our petition is on its way to Moscow, it was sent out from NVC on 08/30/07.

Thank you!

Google "panel physicians" and the website indicates which vaccinations are needed for each age group. You need vaccinations for the medical, so yes, for interview time - and later the same reference for AOS.

For the medical, you have to go to one of the Consualte approved doctors - not any doctor can perform the medical - check with the Embassy/Consulate.r

Good luck, L.

For immigrants! Don't know if this applys for a fiance visa and K3s or not. It may as K1s and K3s are processed as immigrants at most embassies.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICANTS CONCERNING VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS

Recent changes to United States immigration law now require immigrant visa applicants to obtain certain vaccinations (listed below) prior to the issuance of an immigrant visa. Panel physicians who conduct medical examinations of immigrant visa applicants are now required to verify that immigrant visa applicants have met the new vaccination requirement, or that it is medically inappropriate for the visa applicant to receive one or more of the listed vaccinations:

-- mumps

-- measles

-- rubella

-- polio

-- tetanus and diphtheria toxoids

-- pertussis

-- influenzae type b (Hib)

-- hepatitis B

-- varicella

-- pneumococcal and

-- influenza.

In order to assist the panel physican, and to avoid delays in the processing of an immigrant visa, all immigrant visa applicants should have their vaccination records available for the panel physician''s review at the time of the immigrant medical examination. Visa applicants should consult with their regular health care provider to obtain a copy of their immunization record, if one is available. If you do not have a vaccination record, the panel physician will work with you to determine which vaccinations you may need to meet the requirement. Certain waivers of the vaccination requirement are available upon the recommendation of the panel physican.

Only a physician can determine which of the listed vaccinations are medically appropriate for you, given your age, medical history and current medical condition.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Actually I just found on Moscow embassy website that only tetanus-diphtheria and MMR vaccinations are required for immigrants over 17 years old.

I also had to get varicella

About the clinics in Moscow - the one called "Medicina" is cool, that's where I got my medical care when I lived in Moscow. I loved it that I could book my appointments online and all the doctors were great. But I have no idea how to get an immigration medical there or how long it takes. I don't know anything about the second "approved" clinic.

Filed AOS from F-1
Green Card approved on 01/04/07
Conditions removed 01/29/09

That refers to the "age appropriate" part of the law -- all vaccinations are ased on age and medical history.

If she was born in Russia after 1956, she'll probably need MMR, since rubella vaccines were apparently not given to Soviet children. If she is over 50 and does AOS in the fall or winter, she'll need a flu vaccine. She needs to be up-to-date in diphtheria/tetanus. If her vaccination card states that she had chicken pox, ветерная оспа, or if she can get a positive varicella antibody test, then she will not need the varicella vaccine. If she is over 17, she does not need hepatitus B. These are some of the details behind the "age appropriate" standard. It turns out that my wife will not need any vaccinations for AOS.

I wonder why you had to get varicella - it is not even listed on the website. Did the doctor tell you to get it during the medical?

Varicella was also required here. We had to get the antibodies test done to determine if it was present.

Ensure your beneficiary makes and brings with them to the States a copy of the DS-3025 (vaccination form)

This is strange, it is not listed on the Embassy website. I guess this is an extra :)

It's listed on the travel.state.gov website and that's all the matters.

Remember, this is for AOS, which is done Stateside, after the interview is over and the embassy is just a memory.

The civil surgeon you go to will have his/her own list of things they will require before signing the I-693A. Check the website for the official list, but keep in mind, it's up the doc to sign it. (It's up to you to tell them "I only need this... that's it.")
