my wife has her AOS Interview on Sept 7th. my step-daughter has an interview on Oct 11th. has anyone who has had separate interviews for spouse and child been able to have both interviews done at the earlier scheduled date?

we took our daughter to my wife's interview. I was asked if applications had been submitted together, since in that situation the interview is usually at least scheduled on the same day. I said they were and explained that we received an RFE and the documents that were requested. I was told didn't see why I received an RFE for it. well at least I felt redeemed that I had done nothing wrongwith what I had submitted. the adjudicator said unfortunately the physical file was not yet at the office, so there was nothing he could do on that day. he said he would try to have the interview waived when the physical file reached the office. now we can only wait and see...
