to be fair, none of the offending noise-makers are in their bedroom, but it does explain a lot of their odd behavior...bwahahahahahaa!!

there's nothing wrong with a clock in the bedroom... but i don't think i'd want it to go CUCKOO twelve times a night! it would drive me nutso

they still your spirit while you sleep, sister fraces..

My parents have TWO in their house..., plus a grandfather clock, and two other chiming clocks...gah...it's like a damn clock factory every hour and half hour.

I would take a baseball and smash it into a million bloody pieces, as it would torment me to no end.

Of course, I have my own tormenting to deal with. I have two inside only cats. One blind (and very young, as her eyes were removed at the kitten stage). One just big. If I leave the bedrom door closed, the blind cat will scratch the door until I open it and I mean she will NOT STOP until that door opens.

If I open the door, they both sleep in th bed, but the big one gets up around 2 AM and starts attacking EVERYTHING in the bedroom. If I throw him out and close the door, my blind cat scratches to get out. If I let her out and close the door, she immediately scratches to get back in.

MY prediction is that she will go insane hearing that thing. When it peeps it's head out while your asleep she will grab and rip it off. So if you want the bird to live remove it upon her arrival ASAP.

The coo coo will soon disappear!! The ticking is probably not a problem though. A metronome might work well except that you usually have to keep winding them up. Personally I like relaxing music.

Those darned cucko clocks make me crazy! When I moved back in with my parents for a while, the had got one and I would wake up every hour listening to that bird tweeter.
