Question on GC "Class of Adjustment" Code

My wife came over on a K1 Visa. We married and filed for AOS. We had our AOS interview on 8/21/07 and were approved. The thing is that the USCIS officer toward the end of the interview said, "Oh, geez, I almost wrote down the wrong code for you on your approval forms." Then he made a correction. Well, that made me curious about what the proper "Class of Adjustment Code" should be in our case, because we have a discrepancy in the paperwork.

The approval letter he gave us at our interview said "Class of Adjustment" = CR-6 (Conditional Resident Spouse of a US Citizen), which sounds correct. But the Code he wrote in my wife's passport is CF-1 (and I do not know what this code stands for or means). The CF-1 code is also printed on my wife's I-797C Welcome Notice and on her GC which we received yesterday in the mail.

I realize it is a technical question, but does anyone know which code is correct (CR-6 or CF-1)? I suppose I just want to avoid any troubles later. I may just make an Info-Pass Appointment to make sure the codes used in our GC approval are OK for our peace of mind. For anyone approved for a GC that came over on a K1 Visa, which code is in your passport and on your GC, please?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and suggestions.
