hey como estan?

I have been to 7 attorneys offices and I stil do not sign w one. Many of them told me my case is very difucult and they did not give me much hope. maybe is about the money, maybe they say the truth!! One of them seems the best for me, also the most expensive $4000 dls HER fee plus application's fee.

Ground for denial: Misrepresentation

looks like I have 3 ways:

1. do nothing, wait for removal procedings, hearing and start a long way to clean my name.

2. refile AOS along with 601 waiver in the same packet, that way he waiver is 'fee waived'. no fee. plus i can re apply for ead, and get back some legal status.

3. open a motion, with less than 50% success rate.

I think we are gonna go for the 2nd option. aNYONE IN THIS SITUATION?

KIT KAT -Well i wanted to tell you Thank you so much because you have done a great job researching about waivers, and you share all your work with others. Im using all of your links and u are a guru..! CHICA TE DESEO LO MEJOR!

im working in the hardship letter. please if u guys have anything not posted in links, could you share it with me? example letters, info, deadlines, etc etc etc etc etc

Brenda, you call both Laurel and Heather's offices - that would be the easiest way to reach them. It sure seems like refiling with a waiver is the best idea but I wouldn't do anything until you have a consult with one of them - you need advice from an attorney who knows what they are talking about 100%. I still don't understand why they didn't give you the option to file a waiver at the denial since that is "normal" procedure as far as I know.

For example letters, etc. go to the 601 forum on www.immigrate2us.net -- do a TON of research and make sure you have evidence for everything. Remember, your husband writes the letter and he has to prove extreme hardship to himself if your waiver is denied and he has to relocate permanently to Mexico. So he needs to start by thinking about every single aspect of his life and how it would change dramatically if he moved there forever.

Good luck!

Hi Brenda,

I logged in to VJ to check how everyone from the CDJ thread was doing and I came across your post. Ay chica, you have no idea how bad I feel about what's happening to you. It's not fair, despues de todo lo que has pasado para estar con Michael and now this. Sigue adelante, sigue luchando, no te des por vencida. Buena suerte Brenda. Tonight I will say an extra prayer for you guys.
