Strange email Rcvd

I received an email today of an individual soliciting for LTR. Below is a copy, is this a normal occurance? If so, then I will remove my email address from this site.

Hi, I was wondering where I should look on visa

journey to find a woman in hopes of a LTR (long term

relationship) and marriage. Can you help me with

this? I found your email somewhere on the site but it

is a very confusing site to me and I think I have

posted the wrong type of information in the past. I

am from a small town on the East Coast, born and

raised in USA. I am blond with blue eyes and am free

to travel to meet people anywhere inside the US or

Europe. I am a very serious and responsible man.

Wow, I received the same e-mail and posted it before I saw yours. It's very strange, and maybe I too will delete my e-mail address from the site. I have to wonder how he thinks he will find a woman on vj when we are all so hard at work in trying to get our SO's here.

Their account was blocked previously. They must have sent a few emails to other members before that happened. Sorry for anyone they bothered. PM me in the future if any other member sends you a message that you find odd.

I want to add that you can make it so other members can not send you a message via email (even though we hide your email from them). This option is in the control panel. The current email restrictions are:

Only allow 10 emails in a 24hr period

...and only allow 1 email every 1 minutes

This is there to prevent anyone spamming people.
