I'd be curious (but not trying to throw flames to the fire here) how many who have such negative feelings about homosexuality were victims of some form of sex abuse as a child by an adult of the same sex? Perhaps a poll so people remain anonymous if they choose?

I have the same question for people with negative feelings about incest.

Apparently, homosexuality is in a hermeticallly sealed compartment. Any comparisons to any other minority sexual practices is automatically invalid.

Show me the mainstream bandwagon for incest-rights. Excluding the Mormons Incest is a non-issue in this country. Unless you can prove otherwise...

Didn't say it had anything to do with a person's 'partner choices' I was addressing the pointless comparison between gay rights and incest.

Comparing homosexual relationships with unsubstantiated, unproven ideals about consenting 'incest-couples' when very, VERY few exist is nonsensical IMO.

Meanwhile, why is the Catholic Church (which is protecting these abuser priests) maintaining the line that not only is homosexuality wrong, but so is sex for pleasure.

So why bring in incest at all then? Incest has nothing to do with consensual homosexual sex, that was my point. There's currently no demand for incest-marriage (unless I'm much mistaken). In fact the only consenting incest couple I can think of was that German brother and sister who made the news last year, and that couple started their relationship while the girl was legally underage which makes it rather questionable in my book.

Again I don't see the broad demand for this. Society I think has softened its view of homosexuality more over the last century than at any other point in recent history. Views on incest have remained more or less intractable, and there's little reason to expect this to change.

My point (yet again) is that everyone has a line. Your's is consensual incestuous relationships. For others it's consensual homosexual relationships. But 'they' are evil and homophobes.
