I had been out of the country a number of times - for lengthy periods of time. My last stay abroad was in Brazil, where I met my husband. He'd barely been out of his state before we met.

We met in 3rd country when he had vacation with one of his friend and met me.

My husband has never gone to any other country outside of his own before moving here. I have only been to his home country and Canada. Obviously we're not world travelers.

Same here, (except for Canada) I just stopped in Paris to change planes on the way to his country. He had never been out of India before coming here. We wish we could be world travelers, but it's not so easy.

Yes for both of us. Although he was unable to visit in the US until after his visa was approved.

Although for me, thanks to my job, I had the opportunity to travel to quite a few places. Singapore, Australia, Belgium , Germany, China, UK, Mexico...ahh so good to travel on someone elses credit card...

Ok we didn't do K1 or K3, but we both went to other countries before we even met.

He went to Canada and France.

I went to the USA and a lot dozen of European countries.

I'm surprised that anyone said no. Seems like people who marry from other countries would travel regularly and be comfortable with other cultures. I haven't been to Australia, Asia and I'd like to make trips there next.
