I said no, although I had been to Canada. But since I can spit and hit Canada I didn't think it counted. He had been to France in grade school, but I forgot until I just thought about it. We went to Spain together in April and his first trip here is this month.

Lai had been to 12 countries before we met. I'd only been to one, assuming Tijuana actually counts

I've been to 10 European countries myself, hubby only went to Canada when he was 6 years old.

Edit: I visited some countries many times - I went to Austria 7 times, three times to England and twice to Hungary. We traveled quite a bit when I was a child/teenager...

Yes - taught English in Italy for nearly 2 years, traveled through Europe, went to China, India - when I met G it was my 3rd trip to Nepal. G has never left Nepal - hard to get a visa to just about anywhere.

My husband has never gone to any other country outside of his own before moving here. I have only been to his home country and Canada. Obviously we're not world travelers.

Yup. Been to Malta numerous times (parents live there), America and France before.

Hubby was never out of India before moving here in May.

When I was a few months old my parents moved to Germany, my dad taught English there for a couple of years. We also visited France and Italy I think, I gotta ask my mom some day! Don't remember any of it.

Then I moved to India and went out twice to get visa renewed in Singapore and Malaysia. Haven't been anywhere else.
