K1 fiance visa- do they do interviews in Toronto or are they sent to another city?

We are relocating from greece where we put our filing consulate as Athens, Greece... we will be moving to Toronto. I see that the visa interview wait times according to the US consulate in Toronto's website are only 9 days which is a big difference from Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver, which are all > 40 days. I'm suspicious though--does anyone know if they actually do the interviews for these visas in Toronto or if they forward all those cases to Montreal or Ottawa or something?

You can submit your I-130 at any consulate (including Toronto). For the actual visa interview, they are done in 2 places in Canada, Montreal and Vancouver.

K visa interviews are held in Van. or Mont. depending on where you live (for Toronto it would be Montreal). CR1 and IR1 interviews are only held in Montreal, regardless of where you live in Canada.

The wait time for the actual visa interview in Montreal right now is in the 6-8 month range.

One other thing to know, there is a residency requirement for filing in Canada (Direct Consular Filing) - I'm sure someone will come along and add info on this.
