Have a great weekend everyone!! I don't have anything planned for this weekend, just going to a cook out at my mothers home and do some swimming. I'm going to be lazy this weekend. I'm going to try to stay away from the computer for awhile, I hate when I check on my petitions and see that they still haven't been touched since June!! I miss my husband and it hurts me so much seeing our sons being sad that it is taking forever to get their father here!!

Finally the weekend is here! It's going to be a beautiful weekend in Southeast Michigan! I'm hoping to get one more time of boating while the weather is still good!

I'll be cleaning closets, shampooing the carpets, detailing the kitchen tile with a toothbrush to avoid thinking of our impending interview. Anybody need their garage cleaned out?

Just woke up a little while ago. Lazy day today! Nice and sunny so I think we'll just hang out outside and read. My kids have so much reading to do before school starts on Wed!!!!

My dog is sick, i'm so worried it started out as a cold in her eyes but now she keeps yelping in pain for no apparent reason. We have an appt. in a hour for her vet. I called my mom in a panic last night and she said maybe she threw her back out? Omg im so worried I hope for good news....

My dog is sick, i'm so worried it started out as a cold in her eyes but now she keeps yelping in pain for no apparent reason. We have an appt. in a hour for her vet. I called my mom in a panic last night and she said maybe she threw her back out? Omg im so worried I hope for good news....

How old is she? I hope she is ok!!!

hi all. so its been a real bad week for me. i started with a fever on monday evening...it kept getting worse, with nothing.....thursday geo said enuf and we went to the drs....the dr took blood and told me to stop taking advil to reduce the fever and said to take solepedine....ok so i listened to him while waiting for the blood test results my fever spiked and i took the new meds........the dr ordered an antibiotic sometime during my spike because i had an infection....well yea dummy...........so 3hrs after taking this new med my fever still hadnt went down and was at 104...i said screw this and i took 2 advil liquid gels, 25mins later my fever started to break and by 1.5hrs later it was broke....the augmentin he gave me is horrible its 1000mg and its bad on my stomach, i havent felt hungry but i have to force myself to eat to take the med......ughh its a visious circle..............

so anyway i was pretty sure before i got sick that we had concieved this month, like i had this deeeep feeling. so i took the hpt that i had in the house, i didnt say anything to george because i didnt want him to freak......well it was positive....fairly early to get that reading i would think but whatever it was positive...well obviously with my body as sick as it is i knew it was inevitable last night i started having some weird things happen and this morning my cycle came 3 days early......lots of cramping, and other stuff, etc...........sorry tmi. so i have made an appt with a gyn to make sure everything is okay.

so today im still sick, im takin my antibiotic every 12hrs, 1 advil every 4hrs, and some cough stuff because i had a dry cough for 3 days now every 8hrs.....lots of meds going on and like i said i just cant eat....anyone know any good ideas for light food i can eat, remember its like 110 degrees here............

You poor thing!! I'm sorry you're feeling so sick. How about nibbles of fruit? take an apple, for example, and chop it into little cubes, or watermelon. I would have told you about yogurt, but since you have fever, it's best to stay away from dairy.

Good morning, well it's still morning here anyways.

My morning started out great, until the caregiver for my grandma didn't show up. So now the plans Omar and I had for the day will have to be put on hold. I was so looking forward to getting out for the day, as it's our last chance to do something together before my surgery. Everyone else in the family is gone for the weekend on various activities (parents are on a two week cruise) so I have grandma duty. Maybe when my son in law gets home we can go out for the evening.

Jess: Hope you find some relief to whatever is ailing you. Sounds like a combination of things.

Jackie: Always good to see you pop in.

Doodle: enjoy your lazy weekend. This is my first year in a LONG time without having to worry about back to school. My son is looking at going to technical college but thankfully it all falls on HIM now.
