IN EGYPT AND LOVING IT!!!

Well I made it to Egypt!!!!!!! And its awesome as always. WOW did I miss it here. The flight was great (I love flying Egypt Air) and the hotel in Maadi is better than the one I had over the last 3 years in Dokki. My SO is awesome. I missed him so much and we needed this time. I know some of you have upcoming trips....its soo worth it. Good luck to you on your journeys to Egypt as well. Tonight we are going out for dinner and a walk by the Nile. Wednesday is my birthday so Im sure he's planning something awesome. I can see that evil glint in his eyes...so I know he's up to something. Its the first birthday of either of us we've been able to share in person... ought to be fun. Anyways...nothing seems to have changed here....still hot...not as hot as when Doodlebug was here...and Im spoiled..the air conditioning in the hotel is good...almost TO good. LOL.

Anyone got suggestions of what to do or see other than the typical tourist spots? Maybe a good movie theater in Maadi? Or something romantic to do in the evenings?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! and Ramadan Kareem AND Happy Eid! Im here in Alex, Egypt now. Since March 1, 2007 and still loving it! Very thankful and very happy to be with my sweet husband. Alhamdulillah! We were apart for 22 months. It is "awesome" I've always wanted to visit Egypt since I was a little kid. Dont ask me how I was influenced. OH, I love flying! Period! My favorite is take off. Love the way it pulls you then you aim up-wards. Almost like a roller-coaster ride.~Keri
