dammit...there goes my vacation plans. :(

BEIJING - Hungry visitors to next summer's Beijing Olympics won't have to choose between "steamed #######" and "virgin chicken" if Chinese authorities succeed in ridding restaurant menus of mangled English translations.

The Beijing Tourism Bureau has released a list with 2,753 proposed names for dishes and drinks, designed to replace bizarre and sometimes ridiculous translations on menus, the official Xinhua News Agency reported Friday.

So should we all post new topics to give our opinion on this? :P

I love menu mistranslations. I used to order jam pizzas in Italy all the time.

I will not settle for anything less than virgin chicken. That is why I'am with my SO.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

A friend used to make a great breakfast pizza at his bar. He would serve it with the Sunday morning football games
