Have you guys noticed there seems to be alot of people getting approved with out a interview! Do you think this is from the rush of people applying?

What do you guys think ?

This has been going on since 2005. Some cases get transferred to California Service Center and get approved without an interview. The reason for this is, most likely, backlog reduction.

Filed AOS from F-1
Green Card approved on 01/04/07
Conditions removed 01/29/09

Citizenship Oath 08/23/12

Yep!

There have been a LOT in the last few months.

Most were cases that were transfered to CSC.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Not having an interview does not necessarily mean you will get a faster approval. Some members who are transferred to CSC have had to wait well over a year for a GC. Others who have been interviewed have been granted a GC within a mere 3 months or so of applying for AOS.

I suggest you look around the AOS forum a little. You will see plenty of threads covering the "no interview" topic and you can get some good info from them. ;)
