November Interview at US Embassy Manila

anyone who already got a november interview date esp those applying for CR-1/IR-1 ?

Hello sis,

There are 2-3 of our kababayan on CR1/ IR1 that are still waiting at NVC for their appointment dates. Who knows if they will still be on November.

OMG! i feel so frustrated! my tourist visa expired this year and i cant go back this holiday season.

I feel for you sis...

I am frustrated myself because my DS230 is still with NVC with no updates, this is the 19th day. I don't think I will make it even the December interview if they keep on prolonging it. Most of us on CR1/ IR1 have been RFE'd for something silly on the DS230.

RFE= Request For Evidence

from CASE COMPLETE with NVC sis, based from the timelines, takes at least 9 weeks na before the interview at USEM. Just from there, you do the math na. That's around the holidays sis, which will make it more difficult to really make plans for the holiday or plan for your trip to come to the US because of the high price on the airfare.

usually the will release new sked in the middle of the month... last yr when they released a new sked in oct. i didnt see my interview sked for dec. and when nov. came they didnt include me too for january so it was upsetting for me... but then around dec 4 i think, when i went to their website (coz i check it daily) i was so surprise they put me for dec. 27th interview and so were some of the vj members back then... so during the holidays they will only release few appointment slots coz of the holiday break, but then suddenly they will give another slots to those who doesnt have a sked yet if they can squeeze it around dec 27th-30th... so be prepared with that incase they will give u sudden sked around 1st week of dec. good luck!!!

yes i think you was right.,,, coz am not expecting to be in november sched anymore and am suprised they put me in november 7 sched which quite few weeks frm now. Thanks for the info.

I agree with ronmay I am getting requests from people now to add them in on this timeline, when in fact two weeks ago I was informed myself that November slots are already full. Each visa (K and CR/IR) are scheduled differently: K visas are scheduled by the USEM while the CR1/IR1 are scheduled by the NVC. NVC schedules every 2nd week of the month for the next month slots; while the K visas is scheduled as USEM gets it.
