Yes we just looked around VJ and stole everyones ideas etc for filing...

To be honest though alot of people at the interview came out within 20minutes!

For you guys going next week don't worry the people are really nice my hubby said he was surprised as Immigration seemed to always be 'stony faced', these guys were HUMAN!

Here we go again !

Lifting conditions

Oct 14th 08 ..... Mailed the I-751. Back in the system we go

Oct 18th 08 ..... NOA receipt date

Oct 20th 08 ..... Check has been cashed, waiting on the NOA1 and Biometrics appointment now.

Oct 24th 08 ..... NOA arrives in post.

Nov 13th 08 ..... Receive date for Bio-metrics in Atlanta.

Nov 28th 08 ..... Bio-metrics appointment.

Feb 18th 09 ..... Date of decision to remove conditions on permanent residency.

Feb 23rd 09 ..... Received notification on approval ( via snail mail ). Green card on order.

Feb 26th 09 ..... Card production ordered. Pleas wait 30 days ( as per case status on USCIS home page ).

Mar 7th 09 ....... My 10 yr green card arrives.

Apr 22nd 09 ..... Sons 10 yr green card finally arrives( after a nudge at VSC from the USCIS helpline)

Going to take a little break from the immigration stuff.

That's awesome! Congratulations! I live in Birmingham, but I suspect our interview will take place in Atlanta too. I'm not sure though...anyone else know?

Anyway, it's nice to hear that interviews are going very smoothly in the Atlanta office :)

08/05/2005 Held official engagement ceremony

08/07/2005 Returned to US

08/26/2005 Sent in I-129F petition

08/31/2005 Received online NOA1

09/02/2005 Received NOA1 through snail mail

11/22/2005 Received online NOA2!!! (Day 88)

11/26/2005 Received NOA2 through snail mail.

11/28/2005 NVC receives case

12/1/2005 Case sent to Chennai consulate via DHL

1/12/2006 Interview date - Visa approved!!!

1/16/2006 Received visa by courier

1/20/2006 Arrival in US - Chicago O'hare POE (Reunited at last!!!)

:goofy: SweetPeachGA: Question for you. I have already posted this on this forum but no replies yet. Our interview is Thursday in Atlanta. We just put all our paperwork together in big envelopes this weekend and realized that we have the COPY of the Immunization Supplement for Keith (my husband), but not for Daryl (his son). We have 2 copies of Keith's and I am thinking when the nurse made the copies, she accidentally made 2 copies of Keith's and none of Daryl's. Did the immigration officer ask about these? They obviously have the originals in the sealed envelope we sent in when we sent our AOS packet in. Thanks. This is the only thing I am now worried about. :goofy:

Congrats.

Good to see Atlanta is giving out lots of interview dates now.

We have ours on May 17th.

If anyone can give directions to the office I would really appreciate it.

Our appointment is for 8 am.

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.
