Hi,

I sent my adjustment of status packet on 7/27 and I still haven't received a receipt notice. Apparently, I sent the packet to the Vermont service center instead of Chicago. Has anyone else ever made this mistake? I called USCIS and they just told me to wait and see what happens. What should I do? What's going to happen? :(

My advice is the same as USCIS's: Wait and see what happens. It might get returned to you, or it might get forwarded to the correct place.

One would hope that VSC forwards it to Chicago. Keep us posted, I would like to hear the outcome. Good luck :thumbs:
