Look here under Embassy info:

Dr. Seiden is a popular choice. If you look through the threads in the Canada forum, you will find quite a bit of info of what to expect if you go to his office. :)

I'm looking for information on a doctor in Toronto that i can have perform my medicals... Any suggestions will be appreciated Thanks

There are two doctors who perform medicals in Toronto. Dr. Seiden at 145 Front Street only does physicals on Mondays and Wednesdays between 7-8AM. He charges $185.00. The other is a medical group (I don't know the doctor's name) called Medisys. They are located at 95 St. Clair Avenue West on the 12th floor and do medicals on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 12:30-2:45 PM. They charge $191.50. I think that the Medisys people may be a bit less strict but I don't know if there's any way to check this. You probably know about getting all your immunizations (if you don't have a record of them already), blood tests, etc. through your family doctor so you will be ready for anything and OHIP will pay for that. Make sure to get a yellow card/booklet (the Ontario Record of Immunization) filled out by the doctor if he/she vaccinates you. The physicals are not covered by OHIP but private insurance carriers might cover it. The panel physician (Medisys or Seiden) will do either the Mantoux test or chest x-ray (again) and the blood work (again). If you have your full immunziation records or blood tests showing immunity then they will probably not need to give you any injections. The prices I quoted above do not include the price of vaccines. If you do not have the full complement of basic Td shots (three in twelve months some time in your life) then you will be required to either start such a program or if you have a Td shot within two months of the physical then you will be considered to have started a series and you will not be required to have another shot at the physical. The CDC website has the full listing of what you will need in terms of vaccines (it varies by age and profession/exposure) and a printable sheet that you can take to your family doctor to help you it can be found at http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/recs/schedules/default.htm#adult. Physicals are only good for one year. BTW, Medisys can be reached at (416) 364-3008 and Dr. Seiden's phone number is (416) 362-5603. Hope this helps.

I already called Seiden and told him/her that Liz is completely out of her rocker ;)

So that's why Seiden moved her interview to the Clarke Institute.

Yup, Dr. Seiden's office was pretty good. They were busy and seemingly uninterested in performing exams that day. My exam was practically nothing... they asked me my weight and height and didn't really do much else aside from a breast exam (they did the standard things like drawing blood and chest xray). They asked me the standard questions but she already started checking no off each one before I even answered. :D

If any K1s or K3s are worried about USCIS possibly losing their medical after submitting it at the POE (which means that you'll have to get a new medical for AOS if USCIS can't find it), you can get a 2nd sealed copy from Dr. Seiden's for $50. Just bring an extra passport photo in and tell them at the time that you want to pay for a 2nd copy.
