Ann just picked up her Cenomar from the City Office today, and they spelled her mother's last name wrong. Instead of Sere, they spelled it Zere.

How critical is that she get this corrected? If so, she's going to need to have her cousin in Manila take care of it. It took almost 3 weeks to get this one through the City Office in Mabalacat. They told her minimum 2 weeks.

If it's going to be, it's up to me!

You can request CENOMAR thru online. Visit ECENSUS

Follow the instruction & print the confirmation (print 2 copies). Go to Equitable Bank for payment & after 8 days you will receive your CENOMAR. THey're prompt in their delivery, so nothing to worry about.

goodluck!

Some CO are kind of ticky with CENOMAR. I have a friend who was put on AR for 6 weeks because her mother's maiden name didn't match her middle name on her CENOMAR. Alexandra's right... request a copy online at e-Census. They are much faster and will deliver the copy 1 week after you paid for it to the designated bank...

It happened to me too. They misspelled my father's name when I picked up my Cenomar at the NSO office at East Avenue. Thank God i noticed it immediately. I told the NSO clerk that they misspelled it. They corrected it right there and then. I just waited for 15 minutes for it to be signed again. I didn't have to go back and apply for it again.

Ann could order another copy of her Cenomar online or go to the NSO office in Manila. Ordering them online may be faster but the problem is they might misspell her mother's last name again. I have read about other applicants who ordered online and can't do anything about it when some names were misspelled in their Cenomar copy.

Is Manila now putting in the packet that you must supply a CENOMAR? In the past Manila wouldn't accept this document from the beneficiary because of fraud issues. I looked at the website and don't see any reference to the CENOMAR being required.
