Hi,

we have finally just mailed our application off YIPPPPEEEE. The question i have is... as my son is obviously moving with me, will we have to have his fathers permission for him to leave the UK? We have not seen him for years or know where he is and we were never married?

As you never married don't you have care, custody and control of any children with in the relationship???

Yes i have my son all of the time...his father hasn`t bothered to see him or wanted to for many years, he has never wanted any custody or parental rights...but will it be an issue with the embassy or will they not be bothered?
