My Habibi attempted twice to achieve the tourist visa from the US embassy in Cairo to visit me before we met and was denied both times. Each time they deny someone they gain $100 non-refundable application fee and there is a six month waiting period to apply again. He said that even the Grandma who was a Christian that applied to come visit her pregnant daughter in America was denied. They admit very few "visiting visas" from the Embassy in that country. :(

salam to u all...

anyone from egypt succeeded in visiting their spouses in the US while waiting the k-3 process. there were so many successful stories from canada. i was wondering if any egyptians were as lucky as they were???

I tired to apply for a visitor visa while i am in the process of my K3 and I got denied very easily I think it's waste of money to try so my advice don't even think about it !

My mum got a 5 years visa to enter the USA so she can visit me while i was pregnant and she is Muslim but she has a husband and kids too so they know she has strong ties back home that will make her go back

Unfortunately, the tourist visa application would be denied simply for being married to an American as there are strict rules on showing proof of ties to Egypt, and with a spouse in the states you wouldn't be able to show enough proof of your return to Egypt. Hopefully he can come visit you soon!

Save your money, he wont get a visitor visa and I would bet my life!!!!!!!You can use the money to go visit him while your waiting on the K3 to go through. Save your money for a visit to him. He would not get past hello and they say Denied, thanks for the 100 dollars. He has to prove that he has big ties to Egypt. Now if he is millionaire in Egypt, and has a huge business there that he has to attend to, then they would still deny him becuase there is a K3 requesting to go to your country, they would think, why are they not just living here with that big business, so that would make them doubt too and deny him, but if he is millionaire in Egypt and is coming for business (maybe). Now if your from the US, I would maybe try a vacation to CAnada, and you to meet there and vacation and you could drive there, but still your out the money on plane tickets etc, so just go see him in Egypt.
