Easy does it there. It's easy to trip over one's own hubris, instructing others not to discuss topics which you readily discuss. Further, demanding that others stop scaring VJers as you note consulates grilling beneficiaries to tears (and providing a litany of outcomes).

<snip> For pity sake people, stop talking about red flags and other nonsense ...

Red flags at one consulate are boring details in another. CO's at some consulates spend 30 seconds asking questions about the bonafide nature of the relationship - some consulates grill the beneficiaries to tears. Some consulates put every beneficiary on Administrative Review and some hardly ever do. Some consulates frown on financial co-sponsorship of the beneficary - some could care less.

Stop trying to scare the be-jesus out of people. <snip>

My comments were generic and not directed at you specifically nor personally.

For your edification, my 'hubris' is derived from years of reading and observation. Nothing more.

Each consulate is different. I doubt very much that the Danish consulate (OP's scenario) views the affidavit of support in the same manner as the Turkish consulate (your scenario). Just as both are somewhat different from the London consulate (my scenario).

Any poster does another poster a disservice if they try to pinpoint 'reg flags' based upon boilerplate definitions of same. I demanded nothing. It was a caution and based upon fact. If you don't like it, then perhaps you should check your own hubris.

With everyone’s 'hubris' aside. I am thinking that everyone is building up hope and faith during this process putting our blood, sweat, and tears into this process whether I am a doctor who is between jobs or someone who is unemployed for whatever reason I am. My question was practically overlooked so people could bring down the velvet hammer on me. I didn't ask what a co-sponsor was. I didn't ask for the worst case scenario. I didn't ask for anyone to attack me for being unemployed and going to Denmark. In fact I hadn't even brought up the fact I was going to Denmark. I didn’t ask “Hey... does anyone think I should go to Denmark. Even though I don’t have a job. Will this look bad blah blah blah?” I most certainly didn’t. All I wanted to know was what I should provide for my I-134. Yet somehow on this forum those actual questions seem to get muffled so people can be righteous and tell everyone else that their path is wrong. And what they should be doing. It’s down right asinine and uncalled for. You obviously don’t understand mm_ss (and yes this is directly for you) that by giving people information that doesn’t even pertain to their case could put them in an emotional tailspin. No matter how good your intentions. Did you know after you wrote what you wrote I literally spent 4 hours looking in every crack of VJ and the internet to find out if these illicit red flags of yours existed? You know why? I am obsessive. I am emotional. I am so stressed I have stress coming out of my ears and had to be put on Zoloft for anxiety due to this process. By no means am I suggesting that you aren’t stressed or my plight is the biggest of all because I am special and blah blah. Yes I don’t have a job. Big deal! There are HUNDREDS of reasons I may be unemployed. None of which is any ones business. Yes this could possibly hurt my case. But did I ask that?? Nope sure didn’t. I’ve done my homework. I have spent sleepless night wondering if I am going to get that job. Or how on earth am I going to do this with no job. For these fears to be blatantly thrown out like nothing only shows how selfish you act. I would never do that to someone. Never. You are going through this process too and you should be ashamed of yourself. You know even though rebeccajo didn’t give me a direct answer. I found her words most comforting. Because while you attacked she said... hey you know what there is no right... and there is no wrong there just is hope that you have done everything right and that you will make it through no matter how many forum rapists try to take that away. Yes I know you will counter... intellectually I am sure using words like hubris which I have only heard my great grand dad use. I know you may not think what was said was a big deal (or it’s so called truth I needed to hear) but taking away some ones hope with no regard is sick. You should think about this while you’re worrying about YOUR case at night. While you’re waiting for YOUR fiancée’ to come. While YOUR life is hanging in a balance. Then maybe you won’t be so quick down everyone else. There are people like you on every forum. Right. Righteous. Selfish. And no I don’t know you personally or if you are actually selfish or do I care. All I know is you should really think before posting.

okspider.......while you are searching internet cracks, look for those that pertain to the Danish consulate. Anecdotal posts about the interview. Information regarding how the I134 is viewed by those CO's. Find out how important the affidavit is and prepare your case accordingly.

I didn't advise you because I don't know the answers. But I bet they are out there.
