Question about Affidavit of Support

:help:

I am starting to fill out the forms for the K1 visa and I’m not sure how to do the Affidavit of Support when I am doing it with a co sponsor.

Does my co sponsor have to fill out the I-134?

Or do we both have to fill out separate I-134 forms for each of us?

Or do I have to use a different form since I have a co sponsor (like the I-864 and I-864A)?

I've been searching the forms and haven't seen anyone talk about this exact subject.

I really need some help; all this is really overwelming for me.

landt,

First, you won't need the I-134 until just before the interview stage.

You - the petitioner has to complete the I-134 always - no matter if you can meet minimum income/asset levels. A co-sponsor completes the I-134 separate from the one you (the petitioner) completed. So if you're using a single co-sponsor, the foreign fiancé will carry two separate I-134's to the interview.
