If infact the story is true, again i stand by my statement, MAKE SURE YOU CAN READ SOMETHING BEFORE YOU SIGN IT!

Hes warning us over marriage fraud, im warning him over the fact that if you cant read a document because a different language it is NOT smart to sign it. It could say ANYTHING! plus, did him and his fiance speak the same language? she couldnt tell him it was a marriage ceremony? Either none of this is real because of all the loose ends, or hes just an idiot to not ask questions and have something translated to where he can read it. just MY opinion!

and you cant apply for a K1 if your marread....
We all know that. The OP didn't know they were officially married. He thought his ceremony was just an engagement ceremony. It's happened before here on VJ. I had a ceremony I wasn't sure about. It turns out it was just an engagement ceremony.
If you want to go down that road: The point you're missing is that she can't deny knowing that she was indeed married. That would put her into a position where she can't stay here - whether she's a victim of abuse or not. The USCIS is kind of funny that way. They see a married person entering as a K1 and that's that. She wouldn't have a leg to stand on as she would have declared at the US Consulate at the time of her K1 interview that she was, indeed, eligible to marry her petitioner which she would have known good and well to be untrue. Case closed. Alien gone. ;)
ahhh, she couldn't have lied?????

Lied? To whom? The USCIS? Tell them she wasn't married (to make her entry lawful) and then trying to sue him for half his stuff based on the fact that she was married? Puleeze...

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Not saying that people haven't done that. But you are not telling me that a person is going to build her immigration case on the fact that she was married to an abusive spouse all the while having declared at the K1 interview that she wasn't. Get it? If she claims to have been married prior to entreign on the K1, she entered illegally and gotta go. If she claims that she wasn't married at all to her petitioner, then she's gotta go because as a K1 there's but one way to stay here: marry the petitioner after entering as a K1. It's a catch 22 for crying out loud.
