About the K-1/K-3 debate... it IS possible and legal to come to the US on a K-1 if you're already married on the condition that you have a petition for a K-3 on file.... they let you use the K-1 to bring your family member here to wait for the K-3 to be approved.

Same for us!

Sounds a bit weird now, but it wasn't at the time. I was more concerned that it WAS a valid marriage instead of the other way 'round..

Sounds like she's talking about filing the I-129F (the same petition you use to file for a K-1) after filing an I-130 (result: K-3 visa, not K-1, to be followed either by AOS or return to home country for a CR-1 interview). I suspect she simply has her terminology confused.

I knew this would happen. I’m just a nice guy. I went on here because my friend said I should do the right thing and warn other people what happened to me. Sure enough, I do it, and of course just like I expected I get bashed. I said it from my first statement there would be backlash from everyone. Darnit people can’t you take something at face value and except it.

SHONJAVED!!! Do I have to spell it out to you? HERE:

I applied for the K1 VISA.

you cant apply for a K-1 visa if you are married DUH...

If you read correctly: I SAID AT THE TIME I DIDN’T KNOW I WAS MARRIED. I WAS TOLD I WAS ENGAGED!!!!!

don’t marry within 90 days, the person must return to their home country.

I thought you were married???????????????????????????????

AGAIN IF YOU READ CORRECTLY: I SAID SHE CAME HERE THINGS DIDN’T WORK OUT. AT THAT TIME I WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION I WAS ENGAGED!! IT WASN’T UNTILL SHE THREW ME IN JAIL. THEN 2 OR SO MONTHS LATER I WENT TO COURT BECAUSE SHE GOT A RETRAINING ORDER AGAINST ME SHE TOLD THE COURT I’M MARRIED TO HIM.

So I purchased a ticket and one day when I was at work

ACTUALLY I PURCHASED THE PLANE TICKET BEFORE SHE THREW ME IN JAIL. THAT WAS WHY SHE DID IT. BECAUSE SHE KNEW SHE WAS GOING HOME SO HER LAST RESORT WAS TO THROW ME IN JAIL, AND START THE SELF PETETION PROCESS.

whats the ticket for? not wanting to marry your wife?

NO, THINGS DIDN’T WORK OUT. VERY SIMPLE. DON’T WORRY WHY THAT IS NOT THE REASON OF MY POST. THE REASON IT DON’T GET SCAMED.

!

ok you dont say what country she is from. given that. if you got married for example islamic

belive me you would know you are married!!! having said that.

when you have a valid marriage you normally:

1....Foreign affairs places a stamp!

2... depending on the country you have to get a NOTERIZED Document from the Embassy saying you are free to marry. this is normally 35.00 in USD.

3.. normally when marrying overseas you have to registar your marriage.

4.,, when you marry you are supposed to have a translater and witnesses.

so get your lies straight!
