I just came back from the interview, it was very relaxed and the interviewer made me feel very at ease.

By the way, at 1pm the embassy was tooootally empty. honest, I was the only person!

It was like I had the embassy all to myself hehehe

They took our papers and I waited while he reviewed everything (this took an hour! I did get to see some cool pics of the grand canyon in the meantime ;) )

Then the interview:

*(we started with some small talk - this helped me a lot because I was a little nervous)

*where did you learn your English?

*Does Justin speak Spanish? do you always communicate in English?

*when you applied for the tourist Visa, did you tell the interviewer you were going to see your bf? - my answer, yes, but I didn't mark him as my fiancé because he wasn't at the time. I did state I was going to stay at his house and told the interviewer that he was my bf, but that we were still getting to know each other...which was true, honest and proved B)

*How old were you when you lived in the US? when was that? (I was very young at the time, so this posed no problem)

Ok, you are approved ( !!!!!!!!) before I let you go, how did you guys meet?

(told him the story...made a joke about how I ditched Justin's first 2 kiss attempts :P he replied” well, did you finally let him kiss you??")

Do you know what you have to do when you get to the US? (yes, thanks to VJ!!! )

He explained the rules of the fiancée visa, I paid the fee....and now my visa will be delivered next week

 Yay!!

I already called Justin and his mom, everyone is really happy...I'm jumping with joy!! I can't wait to finally be there!!

Saludos,

Caro

Of course you were approved, Caro! CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU BOTH!!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
