Well I think yours is taking a lil longer b/c yours wasn't with an adjudicator yet. When my congressional aide spoke to an offical in CSC they said mine was already with the adjudicator soooooooooooo maybe yours is already on a desk and perhaps even already approved but the system hasn't been updated. Remember some have recieved EADs on the same day they get the e-mail. Here's hoping its this upcoming week!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you call your congressman to follow up? That's what I did. You need to push CSC. They are holding on to a big stack of EADs because they said they did not get biometrics from ASC until July 12th. The date was given to a few of us so I'm thinking it was an error on CSC's part. Please let us know what you find out.

Oh did you go to an infopass???

I only just received the letter from my congressman's office on Saturday stating that they'll make an inquiry for me. I might give them until the end of this week before ringing and seeing if there's any progress. If they can give me any info, I'll pass it along.

Sounds like it could be an ASC or a CSC error, but I'd lean towards CSC as well because of their astonishing track record for this sort of thing. ;)

I agree with you that it is probably a CSC error b/c I would think the bios are sent electronically. Once its in the system all IOs can access or something like that... Wishing everyone luck!!!!

FYI EAD card received today in mail and it came from Laguna Miguel (CSC).

REGARDING CONGRESSIONAL INQUIRIES:

Please go to

http://www.house.gov/

enter your zip code on the top left corner of the page and it will let you know who your congressman/woman is. On their individual pages they usually have a link to Services or Constituent Services section. They will most likely have a privacy release that you will have to fill out and send in with your request. I faxed and mailed then followed up with a phone call. I am very lucky to have a great Congresswoman (for whom I voted) who is very pro immigration. My EAD was approved within 2 days of the congressional aide speaking to an official in CSC.

Also, I included all information with my inquiry. Names, A#, copy of EAD Application, all NOA, All e-mails, and current online status. This helps the aides A LOT!

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!

Maria they said the same to my aide! It's an excuse for their backlog. The aide was also given the 30 day deal. The think of it is that a IO has to know pull out your file and open it...they will most likely just approve it sine its already right there. I'm sure you will here something within a few days. Don't panic yet.

:clock: still waiting.............

 We just received an EAD approval email from CRIS. You must be next in the queue, surely.

I haven't heard back from my congressman's office after leaving a message earlier today, but I suspect it was their prompting which got things moving again. Hope you have the same luck. :)
