That's exactly what I said. It's up to the petitioner to do it and up to the CO to approve.

I think we all have different opinions on this issue and it will be up to the CO to decide on that. I personally believe that if one doesn't make enough to support your fiancée it's just morally wrong to use the money you're getting from your former SO for your child's expenses to support your new partner. But like I said, we all have different opinions and this one is just a very personal one. I guess that whatever you can get away with will work just fine.

Well then we shouldn't have to list our dependent children on our Affidavit for Support. The CS I receive helps pay for THEIR expenses, NOT my fiance's expenses. My income is more than adequate for the two of us. But if I have to put down that I also have children in my care, I want them to know that my children are well-cared for by me and their dad. I don't see how this is morally wrong.
